Happy Columbus Day!!

Today we celebrate Christopher Columbus. History would have you believe that he discovered America. Not true. America had already been discovered by earlier european explorers. Columbus discovered San Salvador which we now call the Bahamas. Which means, the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria were actually cruise liners. Here is a painting of the first shore excursion. Columbus is leading the tourists in a rousing game of capture the flag. Another popular activity was playing smallpox tag with the native population. So here's to Christopher Columbus, founder of the cruise line and inspiration to Captain Stubing.
