Today is the Day of the Dead, when Mexicans take a break from illegal border crossings to wear skull masks and decorate the gravestones of deceased love ones.
Not to be outdone by our neighbors to the south, here is a list of "dead" related activities to celebrate.
1. Watch season one of Dead Like Me
2. Listen to Oingo Boingo's Dead Man's Party
3. Watch Johnny Depp in Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man
4. Go to the Norfolk Zoo with some friends and play Dead Zoo Animal Lotto. Whoever can guess which exhibit will suffer the next fatality wins! My guess is one of the eastern Bongos.
5. Take a tour of the world's largest slaughterhouse in Tar Heel, NC. Every visitor gets a free pint of pig's blood.
