The List!

Hey everyone! I want to thank Ray Raquipiso for coming up with another awesome banner logo for the website. Once again, Ray was able to capture the mood of the New Year and my muscles to perfection.

I've got a list for what I want to see happen in 2008. I know, I know, you're thinking "not another list!" But this isn't a list of the 10 worst liposuction procedures of 2007 or a list of the 10 ways that the iPhone can stop global warming and bring peace to the Middle East (it's true). My list is far more droll and uninteresting. My list is not listed in order of importance nor is it progressive, with lighter items that pair well with poultry or seafood listed at the top and more full bodied items listed at the bottom. Like my blog, it's just random. Without further delay or circumstance, I give you-The List!

  • My friends Jen and Chris will finally get pregnant. Not together.
Actually, yes together, but not that Jen will get pregnant AND Chris will get pregnant. They will get pregnant as a couple. Wait, is that right? Oh forget it! Chris-just plant your seed already!
  • My brother Ken and Jeanne will give birth to a happy, healthy girl that can do the evil eye on cue like this kid.

  • I will finish at least two more scripts this year and hopefully, with whipped cream on top, I will sell one.
  • I will watch Pretty Woman. I just can't take the incredulous disbelief anymore. (You've never seen Pretty Woman? No, and I can still form full sentences in my head.)
  • I will be a proud Father when my daughter Alyssa graduates Elementary School with straight A's.
  • Florida State will finish in the AP Top 10 in football.
  • The Dallas Cowboys will defeat the New England Patriots in Superbowl XLII.
  • Hillary Clinton will become the first President of the United States who douches.
Well, that's The List. Happy New Year everyone! I hope that everything on your list comes true (unless you have "Troy will be a cross dressing mime" on your list)!!
